Hidden deep in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh, Gadagusain isn’t the kind of place you stumble upon. It's the kind of place you seek. When the noise gets too loud, the crowds too thick, and you want something quieter, wilder, and more real.
And the best part? Getting here is half the story.
Whether you're taking the scenic route by road, hopping on an overnight bus, or landing at the nearest airport, this guide will help you get to Fika Homes, Gadagusain, without missing the moments in between.
Where is Gadagusain?
Gadagusain is a small, offbeat Himachali village located in the Kullu district, about
20 km from Jibhi
29 km from Banjar Valley
49 km from Aut
100 km from Bhuntar Airport
And around 540 km from Delhi
Closer to Bahu village, Gadagusain(Gadagusaini) is still untouched by tourism. No flashy cafes. No “trending” spots. Just pine forests, hidden trails, and a quiet kind of magic. Here is how you can reach us:
Option 1: Delhi to Gadagusain by Bus (The Scenic Budget Route)
If you're up for a real mountain experience, start by catching an overnight Volvo from Delhi (Kashmere Gate ISBT) to Aut. These buses run daily and take around 12–13 hours and can be booked from any online portals. We recommend Laxmi Holidays, for on time and clean service.
Once you reach Aut, here's your journey forward:
Aut to Banjar (Approx. 30 km) Catch a local HRTC bus. The route is stunning, think winding roads, pine trees, and glimpses of river beds.
Banjar to Gadagusain (Approx. 27 km): From Banjar, local buses and cabs go up towards Gadagusain through Jibhi and Bahu.
Pro Tip: Buses to Gadagusain from Banjar starts from 8am and the last bus is at 4pm, so we recommend syncing your arrival with their timings or let us help you plan it!
Option 2: By Road (For Road Trip Lovers)
For those who love mountain drives and spontaneous chai breaks:
From Delhi, take the NH44 towards Chandigarh, then switch to NH205 and NH305 via Aut.
After Aut Tunnel, drive towards Banjar > Bahu > Gadagusain.
You can also take these scenic adventurous routes
Aut> Bali Chowki > Shetadhar > Gadagusain
Shimla > Ani > Chatri > Gadagusain
This route takes around 12–14 hours, depending on stops and traffic. The final stretch is steep so drive slow, and let the mountains lead.
